AMA Supercross Championship at Snapdragon Stadium

The Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship brings high-speed motorcycle racing to Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego, California, on January 16, 2027. The San Diego stop puts fans close to the action as riders tackle a purpose-built dirt track featuring jumps, turns, and challenging obstacles. Event information and ticket options are available through ticketssandiego.org.

AMA Supercross is the stadium-based branch of professional Supercross racing, where elite riders compete on compact tracks designed for technical, fast-paced competition. The championship's appeal comes from the close racing and dramatic jumps, with the crowd able to follow much of the action from the stands. This event is listed as a single San Diego date at Snapdragon Stadium; specific riders, opening acts, and race-day schedule details have not been provided.

Snapdragon Stadium, home to major sporting and entertainment events, offers a large outdoor setting for race night. Its location in Mission Valley also makes the event accessible from across San Diego, with regional roads and transit connections serving the area. Prices currently start around $40, with final costs varying by seat location, availability, and any applicable fees.

Venue and Seating Information

Snapdragon Stadium's bowl-style seating gives spectators a broad view of the track, while the stadium atmosphere adds to the scale and excitement of the competition. For Supercross, seats with a clear view of the full track are useful for following riders through multiple sections; exact sightlines depend on the event's track layout and seating configuration.

When choosing tickets, compare the view and distance from the track rather than relying only on section labels. Track details and any restricted-view areas can vary by event, so consult the seat map available during checkout before selecting a section.

Parking Information

Parking arrangements and prices may change for this event. Review the stadium's event-day guidance and your ticket details before leaving, and allow extra time for traffic around Mission Valley. Common options to check include:

• Official stadium parking lots, subject to availability and event-specific rules.
• Nearby public transit, which may help avoid event traffic and parking searches.
• Pre-booked parking through a reputable parking provider; confirm the location, access instructions, and total price before purchase.

A specific lot name, address, or price has not been confirmed for the January 16 event. Avoid parking in unauthorized areas or spaces without clear event-day access, as restrictions may apply and walking routes can be inconvenient.
